Level 3: Summit

Summit is the mastery level. It is designed to nurture a passion for excellence, a desire to be the best. Its goal is to take the salesperson who earnestly pursues mastery into the top 3% of the new home sales profession. At the Summit level, we explore areas where other sales training programs have never dared to venture in the quest to take salespeople to the very maximum of their potential.

Summit begins with a lesson that teaches salespeople to think like a strategic partner at their community. At this level, the salesperson not only develops outstanding skills, but also operates at a higher level of responsibility, performing in an attitude of partnership with your company. This attitude of partnership enables your company to maximize its opportunity for market position, traffic, conversion rate and profitability.

The next lesson explains what a salesperson should do if he or she slips into a slump. It teaches how to emerge from the slump more quickly so they can confidently return to the point where they are once again firing on all cylinders.

We continue to dig deeper into the subjects of building trust, greeting and closing the more challenging prospects, selling value and protecting profits, and handling tougher situations that may arise between contract and settlement. We also include a lesson on how to sell without models.

We conclude Summit—and Leadership Selling™—with a lesson on self-directed development for the future. This final lesson enables your team to graduate from Leadership Selling™ with a passion for taking personal initiative to keep improving themselves. They reflect on how far they have come. Then, they envision their next frontier in their pursuit of excellence, and what steps they will take to reach it. This lesson takes the original concept of goal-setting and self-definitions from the first lesson of Apex, and uses it to chart the course for their own continued growth.
